Hi, I am Shobhit!
A mental health enthusiast & blogger
I am a consultant at a SaaS company and live a very normal life. I love traveling and exploring new places, foods, cultures, and lifestyles.

It is very good to feel fulfilled and happy. But the moment you think being engaged and busy is what life is, it isn't.
A quote I always share whensoever I am discussing mental health.
"Sometimes, we don't realize we need help until we get it"
About a year ago during Covid. My Instagram was filled with these self-help things (unknowingly I was enjoying and following them). One of the terms that came up the most was "Invest in yourself". And it got me thinking and eventually researching about how a person can invest in themself, and if you have reached here I am pretty sure you have a basic idea of how one can invest in themselves, i.e. by reading, exercising, upskilling, listening to content that is valuable and adds up to your knowledge about the world and yourself.
All in all, anything or plan that has the potential to give you growth from your current self, emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially (obviously).
To be honest I felt pretty good about myself almost all the time and I was the guy who always said I don't need any help. "I am cool".
But One day, I decided I want to know what the fuss is all about. On the beginner's list of self-improvement came - Books, podcasts, and YouTube. I decided not to put some money down on a book (what if I don't read it and that will be a waste), YouTube, will get me easily distracted. I jumped on and went for the podcast.
So, the first podcast I ever listened to was Robert Greene and Jay Shetty. Robert was on for the launch of his book - Laws of human nature.
After listening to that podcast everything changed. I was curious to know more not just about the book but about the topic "human nature and behavior". The first thing I did was I ordered his book (Laws of human nature) while listening to the podcast. And that was a life-altering moment for me.

From a guy who never thought can read books with no pictures or sit in peace, I got to a place where book reading, meditating, writing is now part of my daily routine.

I found that it's important to, first of all, acknowledge the fact that there is so much we do not know and then create the hunger to know and learn more.

I always see myself as a learner who is still learning about life and everything it has to offer. I believe you will get to know a lot about me through this blog, and how so many situations taught me so much about life and I hope you find them meaningful for yourself as well.

Cheers!!
